Well, maybe the Covid19 virus isn’t dead yet, but some of my favorite Senior facilities are inviting me back and getting creative with their entertainment programs for their residents. Check this out:
On Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11, I will be back with dear friends at Alta Vista Senior Living (located at 2041 W Vista Way, in the Vista/Oceanside area) to thank our veterans for their service to our country.
As we meet outside at 1:00 PM we will focus on patriotic songs and songs that celebrate the beauty and strengths of the United States of America.
Lesley and the crew at Atria Encinitas (located at 504 S El Camino Real, in Encinitas) will be hosting me on Thursday, November 12, from 1:00 to 3:45 PM for two music programs at both their north and south facilities. In order to comply with virus protocol, I will be performing outside while the residents sit inside, all properly distanced from one another, in the lobby. Since it is November, the music will feature patriotic songs and songs of thankfulness – in spite of this crazy year! As God’s Word says, “Give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
Then, just days before Thanksgiving, I will be entertaining the residents at Atria La Jolla (at 4025 Pulitzer Pl, San Diego) on November 23 at 3 PM. (The picture above is from when I appeared there in September). In order to comply with virus protocol, I will be performing outside in the pool area while the residents will sit around the pool or on their balconies, all properly distanced from one another.
